This grey lamp is of the frog variety, being almost circular with its short nozzle barely protruding. The frog design consists of all four legs of the frog in a simple relief. The whole lamp is worn and the decoration is primitive. Shape: Round bodied lamp with flat base; raised ridge around nearly central fill hole; short rounded nozzle. Decoration: Relief "frog design" with a triangular "tail" opposite spout; two legs on either side; two volutes extended towards wick hole with horizontal hatching in between them. Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact with some minor chips; overall worn with some encrustations.
