This red fictile lamp is circular and has a short, thick, pointed nozzle. The top bears a rosary around the recessed fill hole and radiating ridges from the rosary to the edge. The bottom bears a large, barely discernible potter's mark. Shape: Round bodied lamp with flat base set off by circular groove; rounded body profile; small central fill hole set off by circular ridge; long extended nozzle with triangular end. Decoration: Red slip covering all surfaces (10 R 6/6 light red). Relief decoration on top consisting of stylized petals radiating from fill hole; radiating groove/ridge pattern on shoulder; stylized plan form on nozzle axis -- central loop and two curled tendrils on either side. Inscriptions: Potter's mark on base. Condition: Intact; surface worn.
