This circular lamp had a recessed and pierced fill hole. The pierced nozzle is short and the pierced circular handle extends from under the rim to the edge of the fill hole depression. Shape: Round bodied lamp with flat base outlined by a slight groove; sharply carinated body profile; broad concave discus with very small central fill hole; short rounded nozzle; high-swung vertical ring handle with central ridge in back running down onto body and single groove on top. Decoration: Traces of reddish brown slip. Relief decoration on discus consisting of radiating grooves and ridges; two concentric grooves around edge of discus; apparent wreath design on shoulder (very worn). Inscriptions: None. Condition: Intact; encrusted with dirt; worn.
